Maine Campgrounds:

Old Orchard Beach – Old Orchard: Enjoy 7 miles of sandy beach, enjoy rides at the amusement park on the beach, kayak and canoe, walk the pier, have fun with golf and mini golf and so much more. 

Point Sebago – Casco : Point Sebago has been providing first class vacations for over 40 years. They have award-winning activities and entertainment programs. They offer lodging for everyone from tent sites to vacation homes.

Wells Beach Resort – Wells: Be near the surf, sand and sea. Have fun at a family destination and visit the quaint Kennybunk and Ogunquit villages. 

New Hampshire Campgrounds: 

Danforth Bay Camping and RV Resort – Freedom: They offer entertainment for everyone, including Murder Mystery Nights. They have heated pools, kiddie pools, lake frontage on Danforth Bay of Ossipee Lake. 

Glen Ellis Family Campground -Glen: Located in picturesque Mt. Washington Valley and nestled between the Saco and Ellis rivers. Just minutes away from Storyland, downtown North Conway and family restaurants. Amenities include, a large pool, river swimming, tennis courts, sporting fields, game barn arcade and more. 

Jellystone Park Campground– New Hampton: Your kids will keep busy with activities and fun at the pool, water slides, inflatable fun zone, heyrides with Yogi and more. Stay at the campground or take the day to enjoy the lakes and mountains nearby. 

Lafayette Campground -Franconia Notch: Here is a great base to enjoy hiking, fishing, biking and many White Mountain attractions. 

Moose Hillock Campground– North Warren: Nestled in the White Mountains,  families will love the sunken ship themed pool area, make your own sundaes, activities in the game room, stocked trout pond and more. Note: this campground came up as many favorites from NH and Maine families. 

Mountain Lake Campground – Lancaster: Located in the heart of the mountains, you’ll enjoy fishing, hiking, swimming in their lake or heated pool. Enjoy activities on site or head to nearby attractions, such as Santa’s Village. They’ve recently added a new pool and water slide for more family enjoyment. 

Owl’s Landing – Holderness: Camp close to Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake, where On Golden Pond was filmed. Here is camping in the natural setting, where you can get away from it all. Enjoy campfires, swimming, fishing and boating. 

Pastures Campground – Orford: Enjoy a season of fun and relaxation along the Connecticut River. You’ll also find a heated pool, volleyball, horseshoes and more. 

Russell Pond-North Woodstock : The campground has 86 units located on a 40 acre mountain pond. This pond has always been a favorite picnic and fishing spot. Fishing opportunities are excellent thanks to regular stocking by NH Fish and Game Dept. 

White Lake State Park – Tamworth: Here you’ll find some of the best swimming in the White Mountain region. The park lies along the shore of the White Lake, which is an example of a typical glacial lake. Enjoy hiking, trout fishing and boating. 

Massachusetts Campgrounds: 

Normandy Farms – Foxboro: Nestled deep in the woods beteween Boston & Cape Cod, Normandy Farms is a luxury camping destination and widely recognized as one of the premier resorts in the world. 

Salisbury Beach State Park Campground – Salisbury: This is a great place to stay if you want to spend time at the beach. While campsites are not on or adjacent to the beach, it’s only a short walk from your campsite to the ocean. 

Wells State Park – Sturbridge: More than 10 miles of trails can be hiked here. Enjoy fishing, canoeing and swimming on Walker Pond. During the summer there are guided walks, hikes, recreational activities and evening campfires. 

Connecticut Campgrounds: 

Strawberry Park-Preston: Strawberry Park is an award-winning 160 acre campground nestled in the heart of beautiful southeastern Connecticut,  just minutes from Mystic Seaport, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos.
