Monday Mentions: Midtown Cafe

Monday Mentions: Midtown Cafe

Ah, it’s Monday. What a fun weekend we had. My son’s graduation/18th birthday party went wonderfully and let me tell you, our catered food choices were a huge hit!

Last week I shared a post with you about how to save money when catering and it was well received. This week, I need to tell you how delicious the food was from the caterers we chose.

The first 1/2 of the party was mostly adults and family so I offered a couple different choices:

Midtown Cafe CateringMidtown Cafe, located in the Beacon Building on Elm St, made the most delicious and eye appealing wraps! Everyone who walked into the dining room said they looked amazing and then as they bit into them said, “they were amazing” and took a photo of the menu to have their information handy. The potato salad with really good, and I’m picky with my potato salad. We ordered a garden salad too that came with 2 dressings. Everything was eye appealing and ready to be placed on the table, ready to eat. They even supplied the serving utensils.

I’ve eaten at Midtown Cafe several times for lunch and already thought their food was good, but I’m now giving them a 5 Star and sending them a thank you note for making everyone at our party very happy. I’m sure they’ll be getting more business coming their way from our party!

Thanks, Midtown Cafe!!!!

Check them out for gatherings as small as 12 guests and make your life easier by letting Midtown Cafe give you a hand.

RA Boston Cream Cake

For Brock’s favorite, we went just down the street to Lowell St, to The Red Arrow Diner. Here we picked up 5lbs of chicken tenders, some of our favorite chili and the most scrumptious Boston Cream Cake! Everything was polished off in no time. I ordered extra chili by accident and glad I had because it was all gone by the end of the night.

Stay tuned for the second half of the party info 🙂
