Kicking off through the official anniversary on Thursday, November 17th, Blue Man Group Boston will be hosting “25 Days of Giveaways” via Twitter, @BMGBoston. A special Blue Man Group or partner item will be given away each day. The giveaways will include over $1,000 worth of items including the group’s first book which was released in October, Blue Man World, their third studio album, THREE, which debuted in April, tickets to a show, a Blue Man Group leather jacket, restaurant gift cards for “Tasty Tuesday” and other branded gear.
In addition to the daily giveaways, Blue Man Group Boston will offer a limited number of $25 tickets to each show from October 24-Nov. 17. These special tickets can be accessed under the “Special Offers” section of their website.
To show their appreciation for the Boston community’s support over the years, Blue Man Group Boston will donate a portion of the proceeds from the $25 tickets and their in-house nightly donation drive to Berklee City Music Boston, a nonprofit organization that provides music education programs and scholarship opportunities to 1,200 underserved students annually throughout Greater Boston. With year-round instruction, expert faculty, and a comprehensive curriculum based around Berklee PULSE, City Music Boston gives students the tools and support they need to reach their full potential.
“The success and ongoing evolution of Blue Man Group is directly attributable to the support of our loyal fans and the local communities in which we have productions,” said Jonathan Screnci, Resident General Manager, Blue Man Group Boston. “We will celebrate this anniversary together in Boston by hosting a fun giveaway for 25 days, providing a $25 ticket option and also supporting Berklee City Music Boston, a non- profit that is doing amazing work empowering kids through music education in underserved communities.”
The anniversary show on November 17th will also have a celebratory theme with a lot of surprises in store. In true Blue Man spirit, they don’t want to divulge their plans and ruin the surprise for their guests.
