Christmas Tree Farms and Stands!

Arnie’s Place:

arnies-christmas-treesIt is the time to start thinking about Christmas trees! We already have 2 of our artificial trees and up and I’m looking into getting our real tree very soon, for sure.

There are many tree stands to stop at, but this year I’m only recognizing one. Reason being I’m a fan of Arnie’s Place because of all that they do for the community and I love their Christmas tree story from last year.

Arnie’s is a family business open from February through October for fabulous BBQ Food, burgers, ice cream cakes and homemade ice cream. They host car events all summer long and give back to the community in many different ways. I’ve spoken with the owner several times over the last couple of years and I just love his heart!

Last year they had more Christmas trees than they anticipated on. Instead of doing a clearance type offer for left over trees, they posted on their board—–Free TREES until daylight! The post went viral, everyone was talking about it. Who would do that, right? Arnie’s Place would. They know that there are many homes that can’t afford a tree and he made it possible.

SO, this year if you’re looking for a Christmas tree from a Christmas stand, head to Concord to Arnie’s Place. Right on Loudon Road, you can’t miss it!  A place that really cares about the community, about Christmas, about YOU!

Check their site out HERE where they have tips to make your tree last.

WEIR TREE FARMS:

Weir Tree Farms is located in Colebrook, NH. Beginning November 19th the Weir family will open their farm 7 days a week from 9-5 through December 23rd.

Weir Tree Farms is the home of the Fralsam® which is a cross between the Fraser and Balsam Firs and was featured twice in the Wall Street Journal as Best Overall Mail Order Tree in the categories of Quality and Value. The Fralsam is a hybrid cross between a Fraser Fir and a Balsam Fir and was developed right here at the farm in the 1980’s.  You get the excellent needle retention of the Fraser Fir with the great scent of the Balsam – the best of both worlds.

Wow! This is a tree I want to have!

A choose and cut crew is available to cut, shake, bale and load your Christmas tree once you have chosen it – however, if you want to cut your own tree they can provide you with a saw.

The decorators are available 7 days a week to custom design any of these to fit your needs. They also have a very large artificial wreath and centerpiece gift shop. The silk wreaths and centerpieces are all one of kind designs.

One year our family spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Attitash Grand Summit and on our way home stopped at the Rocks to choose and cut our tree. You can read how much fun we had HERE. I love choosing just the right tree and I certainly had found it that year. When I reread the post I couldn’t help but be so grateful for the fun memories we had that year. The photos make me smile from ear to ear. The Rocks is great at making magic happen! Who would ever have thought we would have met Christmas Tree Spirit who gave us our own Balsam Fir Seedlings.

You can head to the Rocks simply to choose your Christmas tree or you can enjoy a package and make a weekend full of memories. We had stayed at the Attitash; we love to stay here and enjoy the huge outdoor heated pool. You can also choose from several of the packages that that Rocks Estate has put together for you HERE.

Make sure your cameras are ready to take lots of photos because whatever you do, know that you’ll have a great time!
