It’s not always easy to come up with things to do this time of year with your kiddos. This post is a mix of ideas, places to go and some calendar events as well. If you have any great spots that your family loves, do share with us. We always love your input!

Feb 4th: Hannaford Goffstown Grand Opening:
~ Gift Cards ranging from $5 to $250 handed out at the doors starting at 7am to the first 300 customers, Reusable bag giveaways to first 300 customers as well.

~Numerous Local Vendors sampling Local product throughout the day, giving out $2.00 local coupons
~$3500.00 in donations to local organizations, $2500 to Goffstown school district schools, $500 to Rail trail, $500 to special Olympics…….ribbon cutting at 8am with organizations here

Red Arrow Diner is a fun place to go. This is usually one of the spots we hit during vacations! They have locations in Manchester, Londonderry, Milford and soon to be Concord!

Library & Bookstore:

When my kids were little, I always involved them in local library readings and events and I also checked with close by bookstores. Often both would have crafts, make it and take it projects, reading times and sometimes some entertainment visitors.

Charmingfare Farm: Winter Horseback Riding, Sleigh Rides

Clydesdale Photo Opportunity: Every 1st Saturday of each month, from 1-3, at the Merrimack Budweiser Plant you can take advantage of meeting the amazing Clydesdale upclose for photos!

LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Boston: From toddler times, to adult nights, LEOGLAND is a prime place for families!

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center: The center offers workshops for groups, homeschoolers and more!

Pats Peak: Saturday POP Night-Pay One Price for skiing, tubing, snowboarding, rentals and more!

Splash Zone: The Workout Zone has an indoor splash zone and has member and nonmember prices

You’re Fired: Paint your own pottery and mosaics. You’re Fired offers weekly event prices for children 12 and also offers a teen night as well. Let me go one step further and let you know there’s Ladies Night too!
