Known for their wildly entertaining shows that are an energetic mix of music, art, technology and comedy, Blue Man Group Boston at the Charles Playhouse has become a rite of passage for families looking for a unique show experience during their winter break.
From Feb. 25-March 5, Blue Man Group Boston will host 15 shows including an added weekday 1:00 pm matinee on Thursday, March 2. To celebrate NH School Vacation Week, Blue Man Group is also offering a special $25 discount on tickets for both performances on March 2nd.
To add to the gleeful show experience, youngsters can have their face painted before the March 2nd 1 pm and 7:30 pm performances and be transformed in true Blue Man style with tribal designs in day glow paint.
Before and after the show, guests are invited to relax and enjoy in the lounge which features a full bar and interactive music and light installation created by Blue Man Group called the “Lounge-U-Lum”. Kids and parents alike will delight in creating sound and light scapes with this revolutionary new instrument. And don’t forget to stay after the show to meet members of Blue Man Group and get the ultimate selfie for your collection.
“To look out at the audience during school vacation week shows and see all these painted, happy faces, it truly inspires our cast and crew,” said Jonathan Screnci, Blue Man Group Boston Resident General Manager. “Our shows are already so much fun to produce and perform, but this week, there is an added excitement in the air with the audiences’ enthusiasm.”
In addition, Blue Man Group Boston has partnered with local restaurants to offer free food specials and discounts.
