Boston Symphony Orchestra Family Concert (Kids’ Tickets are FREE!)

This Saturday, March 9th, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be holding it’s Family Concert Day where children ages 18 and under are admitted for FREE!  You do have to call to reserve your free tickets (SymphonyCharge at 888-266-1200) and there is a limit of four free kids’ tickets per family.  Adult tickets are $20 per person.  Beginning at 9:00am there will be some pre-concert events to include an instrument playground, instrument demonstrations, and more!  The concert itself will begin at 10:15am and will be roughly 50 minutes in duration.  The program will include The Imperial March from Star Wars along with some other fun and kid-friendly pieces.  There will be a second Family Concert on March 9th at 12:00pm, however there will be no pre-concert events accompanying the 12:00pm concert.

I am an absolute music geek and love any opportunity to engage and educate my children about music!
