Stonyfield Children Bunny Hop Races and Earth Day Fair!

Stonyfield Farm will hold it’s FREE Bunny Hop Children’s races on April 20th, after their Earth Day 5K.  The Bunny Hop races will be broken into three different age groups, one for toddlers (parents are welcome to run along with toddlers), one for children 4-7 years old and one for children ages 8-10.  Bunny Hop events will begin at 11:15am and free bunny tails will be provided to bring attention to the endangered New Hampshire Cottontail rabbit.

Stonyfield will also be hosting their Earth Day Fair beginning at 10:00am and running throughout the day.  This Fair is free and will host many kids activities!  There will be meet and greets with Gurt the Stonyfield Cow, Slider from the Fisher Cats and Max from the Manchester Monarchs.  Additionally, there will be interactive exhibits from the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, The Discovery Museum, the SEE Science Center and a rock climbing wall from Vertical Dreams (and that’s just a few of the fun things going on for kids)!

If you feel feel like getting active along with the kids, parents can run in Stonyfield Earth Day 5K!  5K Race registration is $25 for adults and $17 for children 17 and under.  Stonyfield’s Earth Day 5K will benefit the endangered New England Conntontail rabbit (did you know that it is estimated that there are only a few dozen left in our state?), the Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program and Life is Good Kids Foundation.  Proceeds will also go towards scholarship for Londonderry High School students.
