The SEE Science Center hosts family workshops featuring FETCH! With Ruff Ruffman on a monthly basis (Fetch! is a program on PBS Kids that my children really enjoy watching). According to their website the SEE Science Center will use “activities provided by WGBH as well as activities provided by their experienced education staff in the workshop.” These activities are included in the regular Science Center’s admission price and are designed for children 6-10 years of age. The theme for January’s workshops is “chemical reactions.” There will be three chemical reaction activities during all of the scheduled times during the month of January (to include potion commottion, copper cleanup and tempest in a tea cup).
January 2013 Chemical Reactions Workshops:
Wednesdays 1:30 – 3:30 pm Jan. 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30
Saturdays 11 am -12 pm Jan. 5, 12, 19, & 26
Sundays 2 pm -3 pm Jan. 6, 13, 20, & 27
