The Palace Theatre Presents “Oliver!”

I truly adore taking my children to the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH.  In mid-January the Palace Theatre’s youth cast will be putting on “Oliver!” (the youth cast is made up of 8-18 year-olds).  I brought my children to the youth’s productions of “Peter Pan” and “Cinderella” last year and we had a great time at both.  We always leave the Palace Theatre with my children asking “when are we coming back?!”
The interior of the Palace is beautiful and it is situated on the very charming Hanover Street, which is lined with lovely restaurants and eateries.  My girls and I get dressed up when we go to the Palace Theatre and we usually try to catch a bite to eat on Hanover Street before the show – making for a wonderful mommy-daughter night!  Typically, arriving early gets us a metered parking spot right on Hanover Street in front of the Palace (very convenient!).  If you do decide to eat in the area prior to the show, please be sure to inquire at the box office about half off gift certificates to participating restaurants.  I have used the half off gift certificates in the past and it makes eating out with the children much more affordable.
The dates for the production are below:
Tuesday January 15, 2013 (7:00pm)
Wednesday January 16, 2013 (7:00pm)
Tuesday January 22, 2013 (7:00pm)
Wednesday January 23, 2013 (7:00pm)
Ticket prices are $12.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Children.  You can purchase tickets online or by phone (603) 668-5588.

The Palace has a fantastic summer series of plays for children as well, but more to come on that as we approach summer.
