Chunky’s Cinema and Pub Free Children’s Movies!

I really enjoy taking my kids to the movies.  All I have to do is mention the word “Chunky’s” in my house and my kids become giddy with excitement.  “What are we going to see?” “When do we get to go?” “Can we have popcorn?” “Are we going to get to eat lunch there?” are just a few of the many questions that are immediately asked.

Chunky’s Cinema and Pub is a dine-in movie theater with locations in Nashua, Pelham and Haverhill.  I have taken my kids to their Nashua and Pelham locations and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time at both.  My favorite thing about Chunky’s is their “Little Lunch Dates”.  Every month Chunky’s offers a free showing of a children’s movie for parents/caregivers and their children.  During the movie lighting is slightly dimmed and admission is free (I love free)!  During the showing you can order lunch from their menu (see the link for menu items and food prices).  Because the movie admission is free, I usually let my children order off of Chunky’s menu (meal prices are between $5.00-$5.50) which absolutely makes their week!  Another big advantage to going to the “Little Lunch Dates” is that I don’t have to worry about making sure that my children stay absolutely quiet.  The theater is always full of parents with young children so a little noise is acceptable and understood!

     Chunky’s next “Little Lunch Date” will be a free showing of “The Lorax” on January 23, 2013.  Showtimes in the Pelham and Nashua locations are 11:30am, 12pm and 12:30pm.  Showings at the Haverhill location are at 11:30am and 12pm.
