LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston Review (Part 2)

This is the second part of my LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston review.  Please see LEGOLAND Discover Center Boston Review (Part 1) for more information.  SNH Kids is also currently hosting an amazing Giveaway for a family four pack of tickets to LEGOLAND.  Please visit this link for more information.

MINILAND: This was my favorite part of LEGOLAND.  MINILAND is a recreation of all of our favorite spots in Boston using over 1.5 million LEGO bricks.  LEGO Boston came to life through its cheering crowd at Fenway, Boston Pops Concert in the Hatch Shell, boats on the Charles River, fireworks and so much more.  I think I could visit and revisit MINILAND many times over and still not catch every detail.

LEGO Racers: Build and Test: The kids had a blast building and test driving race cars.  They spent at least 30-40 minutes doing this.  It was a huge hit!

LEGO City: Play Zone: The Play Zone was another really cool part of LEGOLAND.  My kids loved running, climbing, jumping and building throughout the Play Zone!

LEGO Duplo Farm: The DUPLO Farm was really cute and perfectly geared for my younger crowd.  The DUPLO Farm is recommended for children aged up to 5 years.  There was a Farmhouse Climbing Structure with a slide, a few adorable Farm Animals and a ton of LEGO DUPLO bricks to build with.

LEGO Friends – Olivia’s House: I’ve already told you what my and my son’s favorite parts of the LEGOLAND are.  Well, Olivia’s house was the hands down winner for my two girls.  My girls are big fans of LEGO Friends!  We played in Olivia’s kitchen, built cupcakes, hung out in her living room, and sang Karaoke.  My girls were Karaoke Queens!  However, instead of singing along with the songs that were playing they sang “Let it Go”….on a loop….very loudly 🙂

Earthquake Tables:   The kids were able to build towers and buildings on plates and then turn a switch that made the plates move.  It was fun to see which designs were sturdier.  It was clearly also a lot of fun to watch the LEGO bricks come tumbling down!
