Kids Workshops at Home Depot

Home Depot has fun and FREE workshops for children on the first Saturday of every month.  My children absolutely love the Kids Workshops at Home Depot!  On our first Kids Workshop visit my children each received their own Home Depot (kid-sized) orange apron, personalized with their name on it.  Every subsequent time we have attended a workshop the kids each receive a pin for completing their project.  Their aprons are decorated with all of the pins that they have earned over the past two years.  NOTE: Most of the projects require the use of a hammer, wood glue and nails.  My husband and I have been very hands on in helping our children complete these projects due to their young age.  I would assume that slightly older children could complete the projects independently.  The next workshop is on February 2nd from 9:00am-12:00pm and the kids will be building a Valentine Card Holder.  Detailed information regarding the workshop can be found on Home Depot’s website.
