Groundhog Day Celebration

Here’s another fun event that is listed on Parenting NH’s website.  There will be a Groundhog Celebration at Beaver Brook Association in Hollis, NH on February 2, 2013. The following is a description of the event as found on Beaver Brook Association’s website: “Come enjoy a puppet show about New England Wildlife “Get Ready for Winter” which teaches about migration, hibernation & adaptations needed by Wildlife to survive winter. The main character, the Woodchuck, attempts not to hibernate this winter. See what happens! After looking over some real animal mounts, furs, and tracks, we’ll head out for a hike on the trails at Beaver Brook to find evidence of animal activities in winter. Return to the Farm for chicken soup and grilled cheese lunch! $8/$5 Friends of BBA. $25/20 family. Call 603-465-7787 to register.”
