I love Summer! My kids and I wait all winter long to bask in the sun and we spend every possible second we can outside soaking it all in. While we are a family that loves the sun, our skin is not made for a lot of sun exposure. My kids and I are very pale and burn easily. I am constantly applying and reapplying sunscreen. Being typical kids, my crew does not like to interrupt their play time to reapply sunscreen. This is why I LOVE products that offer coverage and sun protection.
Sun Angels has created fun and fashionable arm sleeves that are UPF+ 50. Sun Angels arm sleeves can be paired easily with any outfit and are very easy to put on and take off. When these first came in the mail I wasn’t sure how my kids would feel about them. I was very curious to see if #1 they would be willing to wear them and #2 they would find the sleeves to be comfortable. When we opened up the package my kids immediately wanted to put on the arm sleeves (which answered my first question). They really liked the fun designs. Once the sleeves were on the kids didn’t have any complaints. They played throughout the day with the arm sleeves and reminded me that I didn’t have to apply sunscreen to their arms. The arm sleeves stayed on throughout the day without slipping. Once the day was over two of my children asked if they could wear them to bed. I guess the arm sleeves are comfortable!
Another concern that I had was that the kids would get too hot with this extra layer on their arms. We’ve had some hot days recently and I was worried that my kids wouldn’t like wearing the arm sleeves in the heat. Fortunately, I have not found that the kids mind wearing an extra layer on their arms in the heat. I think that this is a great product to help protect little ones from the sun. If you’re looking to apply a little less sunscreen while still protecting your little one’s skin then I recommend giving Sun Angels a try!
