Basil Garlic Pita Crisps

My family and I had the pleasure of hosting a 100th Birthday Party for the Morton Salt Girl.  To aid in our party planning, Morton Salt sent us several recipes to include this one.  We made Basil Garlic Pita Crisps for the party and loved them!  Enjoy!

  • 3 (6 inch) large size pita bread rounds, cut in half
  • 1 T olive or vegetable oil

  • Cut each pita half into four wedges to make 8 pieces.  Brush wedges with olive or vegetable oil to coat completely.  Place on a baking sheet in a single layer.  In a small, combine basil, Morton Kosher Salt and garlic powder.  Sprinkle wedges with Morton Kosher Salt/spice mixture.
