Dover, NH – The Children’s Museum of NH is now taking registrations for new sessions of preschool and homeschool science classes that begin on November 6th. Each 6-week session includes hands-on experiments, lessons and creative projects under the instruction of the Museum’s lead educator, Meredith Lamothe, MLIS.

The theme for the November 6 – December 11 session of Homeschool Science Explorers is “Phenomenal Physics!” Physics is a science that relates to all other sciences, from biology to astronomy. This class will explore motion and mechanics, electricity and magnetism, heat, light and more via hands-on activities, experiments and demonstrations. After this class, young physicists will know a lot more about the world around them.

Science Explorers for Homeschoolers is open to children ages 5-1/2 – 9 years old and meets on Thursdays from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm. There is no session on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving). The cost for this 6-week class is $60 for members and $70 for non-members. Additional siblings in a family pay just $36 each to participate.
