Kindness Counts in the Month of January

Take some time this month to sort through your pantries with your children.  Look for non-perishable goods that you could consider donating to your local food pantry.  Then find an old cardboard box, have the kids decorate it and begin filling!  Additionally, while you are doing your grocery shopping, consider having the kids pick out a non-perishable food item for donation.  At the end of the month take the kids to your local food pantry and have them give their donation.  The awareness and compassion that this act creates in children is truly amazing!  You can find a listing of New Hampshire food pantries on this site.
