Snow Tubing at Loon Mountain

Snow Tubing at Loon Mountain

0123151411This past Friday my family and I went Snow Tubing at Loon Mountain as part of a day trip in Lincoln, NH.  Snow tubing was wonderful and Loon Mountain is beautiful.

Loon Mountain has two different Snow Tubing areas, one for children 8 years of age and older and a Tot tubing area for kids under the age of 7.  My children are all ages 7 and under so we used the Tot Hill.

My children had a blast snow tubing.  The Tot Tubing area is made of one small hill that is perfect for young kids.  Also, the staff at the Little Sister Tubing Center was great and very easy to work with.  Snow Tubing is $18/hour for Lift-Served Tubing and $11/hour for Tubing for Tots.

Snow Tubing runs from Thursday through Monday and is subject to weather conditions.  Please be sure to call in advance to check on weather and slope conditions.  Whether you are using the “big kid” or tot hill, space is limited so be sure to register in advance of your trip.

You will also want to arrive 20 minutes early for your tubing session.  There is some paperwork that is required at check-in and you will want to fill this out prior to your scheduled time.

More Fun at Loon Mountain: Loon Mountain offers many different winter activities perfect for families to include snow tubing, skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and winter ziplining.
