Fun With HiFiKiddo

Over the past few months my family has been using and testing HiFiKiddo.  HiFiKiddo is a nice tool for my children and family members to communicate.  HiFiKiddo not only allows children to use social media to keep in touch with trusted family and friends but it also gives them the opportunity to practice their spelling, reading and typing.  HiFiKiddo allows children to be part of social media, posting pictures, comments and emoticons.  My children love feeling like they are part of the action and I love that they can participate in social media safely.

At this time the only Social Media Platform that I allow my children to use is HiFiKiddo.  I trust HiFiKiddo for my family because it was designed for children, giving them a safe and secure environment  in which they can connect with family and friends.  Designed for young children, ages 13 and under, HiFiKiddo has prioritized parental involvement and supervision over their children’s social media experience.   Through parental controls and managed settings, children are able to safely share pictures, videos and status updates, giving them the independence to connect first-hand with friends and family.

Here are some of the reasons I like HiFiKiddo for young children and families:

  • It’s Free!  Simply register yourself and your children and you are good to go!
  • HiFiKiddo is Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) compliant.
  • You can manage your child’s settings, giving them Low, Medium, High or Custom Privacy Settings.
  • Parents can predefine circles for their children to include “Core Family”, “Family” and “Friends”.  Within each of these circles, parents can manage the level of interaction their kids can have.  Parents oversee friend requests, status updates, messages, pictures and videos.
