Dollar Deal Night at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire

Dover, NH  – The Children’s Museum of NH will host its monthly Dollar Deal Night on Friday, March 6 from 5:30 – 8 pm. The entire museum is open for special evening hours and visitors pay just $1 per person admission. The $1 admission represents a 90% savings over regular admission, and offers families a fun opportunity for creative play before bedtime.

This month’s Dollar Deal Night will features special guests and activities from Hannaford Supermarkets and the NH Food Bank’s “Cooking Matters” program. Families can learn about “mystery” ingredients – healthy foods to sneak into meals to increase the nutrition value. There will be recipe samples to taste and information to bring home. Parents can also chat with a Hannaford dietician and ask questions about preparing healthy meals and snacks.

Dollar Deals Nights are held on the first Friday night of each month during the school year. The next Dollar Deal Night is scheduled for April 3, 2015.

During the fall and winter months, the Children’s Museum of NH is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 12 – 5 pm. The museum is closed most Mondays except for selected holidays and school vacation days.
