On January 12, 2013 the Stone Zoo will celebrate the 7th birthday of black bears Smoky and Bubba. Birthday cake will be provided for the first 200 visitors along with birthday hats to decorate! There will also be pizza samples from 10:00am-3:00pm
Daily Animal Encounters
Check Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo’s website for times and information regarding their daily animal encounters with the zookeeper.
All guests will be charged the children’s admission price on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00am-12:00pm at both the Franklin Park Zoo and the Stone Zoo. Children’s admission price is $11 at the Franklin Park Zoo and $10 at the Stone Zoo.
The Lunar New Year Celebration
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Franklin Park Zoo on January 26, 2013 from 11:00am-3:00pm. See their website for additional information about the schedule of events.
Every weekend in January and February, the Franklin Park Zoo will host a story hour inside the Tropical Forest. Story hour is at 11:30am and there will be a biofacts table at 1:30pm.
