Easter is March 27th this year. Don’t wait to make your reservations for Easter brunch or dinner, they book up faster than you realize.
Many restaurants really outdo themselves with their brunches. I enjoyed a summer buffet at Mountain Club on Loon, our family was impressed then, I can’t imagine how good Easter brunch/dinner will be.

The town of Old Saybrook and the Saybrook Inn & Spa is one of my top favorite places to be at, and I’ve been to a lot of places. I was fortunate enough to stay here on a couple occasions; one with my mom for Mother’s Day where we stayed in the inn and experienced the most beautiful buffet I’ve ever seen or eaten from. The other time was in September for our 20th anniversary and we stayed in their Lighthouse! Yes, you read that correctly, their Lighthouse. If you have the pleasure and opportunity to stay here for an overnight spend the day and indulge in their fine restaurant, I highly recommend it!
