Bluum: Goodies for Baby and Mom

If you aren’t familiar with Bluum, I would like to introduce you!  Bluum is a very cool company that creates and ships monthly boxes filled with hand picked products and goodies for mothers and babies.   These boxes are perfect for infants through preschool age children.  Products are selected based on your child’s age, gender and developmental stage.  The products in each Bluum box are valued between $40-$50 however a 3-month subscription only costs $25/month.  As such, you can try out some cool products at a great price.  You can purchase a one-month, 3-month or 6-month subscription to Bluum.

I am drawn to Bluum mainly because I have vivid memories of wandering up and down store aisles just after having my first child, wondering what I actually needed or wanted for my new little one.  With their team of product-testing m.o.m.’s (managers of merchandising), Bluum takes the guess work out of shopping for an infant.  I wish I had Bluum with my first (or second or third baby!).

My little one and I were able to review a Bluum box and we were so happy with it!  The box was waiting for us in our driveway last week and my children were over the moon.  I had warned the kids that this box was for our one-year old but they wanted to “help” her open it.  😉

As soon as we opened the box my littlest one immediately recognized that this was exclusively hers.  I can’t even tell you how excited she was to have something all to herself.  As the fourth child she is immensely blessed with the love of her siblings and many hand-me-downs, but rarely gets anything new or just for her.  Every item in the box was tailored for my daughter which she (and I) loved!  She took each item out of her box and had me open them right away.  My older kids quickly recognized that it was all “baby stuff” (as they called it) and left my little one alone to enjoy her box.

Apple Park Finger Puppet $12 Value: This was my little one’s absolute favorite from her Bluum box.  She loves snuggling with this little guy and has been carrying him around our house.

 

Purple Prairies Sun Stick $10 Value

Fresh Baby’s First Toothbrush $6 Value: This was another favorite!  My one year old is teething and chomped away at this.  I realize that this is intended to be a first toothbrush however my daughter found it to also serve as a very effective teether.

 

Delicate Dot Pink Sippigrip from BoogiHead $8 Value: When my daughter and I took this product out of the box I thought that it was fantastic.  Actually, I wondered why I hadn’t seen one of these before.  My daughter on the other hand, being the spunky little thing that she is, would not let me attach it to her sippy cup!  Apparently she is set in her ways and, well, she’s never had anything attached to her cup and wasn’t about to start now.  That said, I still think that this is a great idea and an adorable product!  I’ll be giving this to a friend with a less spirited child!

I enjoyed our Bluum box so much that I’m giving my sister-in-law and little nephew a 3-month subscription.  I hope that they enjoy the boxes as much as we have.
