Where do I like to shop

Where do I like to shop

Almost weekly, I’m asked, “Where do I like to shop?”, So I thought I would share with you all my secrets. I’m pretty much a creature of habit once I have my favorites. So, here you go…..

Tuesday & Fridays, the bread store in Concord has all bread, buns, english muffins, bagels etc for only $0.99!!!! I usually pick up 2 weeks worth of bagels and get my whole grain breads here.

Next I pop into to JD Foods to see what deals they have brought in. Sometimes they put new truckloads on their FB page. My shopping cart usually contains a couple cases of yogurt…$3.99 each. I stock up on the new snacks that come in. The case prices are amazing! The boneless chicken breast deals are awesome. This time of year, I put mine in freezer bags with a marinade and throw them in the freezer. My grill will be happy too! I buy all my cheese here as well and butter. Eggs are usually the lowest price here than any store. Sometimes I pick up deli meat here too, I do have a meat slicer that comes in handy.

When I’m looking for more snacks, I’ll head into Big Lots. I also buy all my nuts and seeds here too. Sign up for their reward program. A few times a year, they’ll offer you 20% off all your shopping!

Another place I may run into to grab deli meat is Price Rite. It’s quite a small grocery store, you won’t find a lot of different brands of products, but they have enough choice in their deli and the price is always like a sale price. The turkey I get is always $2.99lb, there’s a roast beef for $5.99lb and yesterday I picked up Virginia Baked ham for just $2.99lb as well.
We go through 3-4lbs of deli meat a week, so this has been helpful!

Where do I do the rest of my grocery shopping? I shop at Hannaford. I’m always happy with their meats and produce. Lately, their butcher shop has been giving us CRAZY deals such as the Sirloin Thick Steak they had last week for only $2.99lb! A savings of $4 a pound. After we cooked out one night and were all oooing and ahhhing, I went back and bought $100 worth of the thick steaks and have them in my freezer. Nothing like a grilled steak in the summer! I also appreciate their WOW prices! These are “sale” prices that stay the same for at least 2 months!
I also need Hannaford in my life because of their Hannford To Go Service. This service saves me time and money. I place my order online and get the curbside pick up! I also save money because I stuck with my list.

Well, there you have it! I still use some coupons occasionally when I go to Hannaford, but shopping like I do now, I don’t need the coupons. These prices are better than sale and coupon prices I was getting in the past!

I love my stores, I don’t mind running here and there once in awhile. Though with stocking up at JD Foods and snacks at Big Lots, I don’t have to run around every week. It usually turns out once or twice a month I do the store hop thing. My wallet says thank you and my family has plenty!!!!

I hope this has been helpful for all of you!
