Nevins Farm is hosting a special edition of their Little Bookworm Storytime this Friday, March 1st at which they will pay homage to pigs in celebration of National Pig Day! (I didn’t realize that National Pig Day existed prior to visiting the MSPCA’s website!) After reading a story about pigs, you will get to visit the Farm’s pig pen to see Buster, Alfie, George and Harriet enjoy a giant fresh fruit salad. You can even bring a piece of fresh fruit to share with the pigs. I know that National Pig Day would be a big hit with the little animal lovers in my house!
