The Space Camp Scholarship program is back again this year and is offering three New Hampshire kids the opportunity to attend Space Camp for free! Three children will be chosen by the McAulliffe-Shepard Discovery Center to receive The Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp Scholarship which will cover the cost of tuition to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. The following are some of the details pulled from the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center’s website:
“Each applicant must be a resident of the State of New Hampshire and be between the ages of 9 and 18. Recipients are selected on the basis of essays, report cards and recommendations. The Alex Higgins Scholarship Fund covers the full cost of tuition but does NOT cover transportation to Alabama.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 Space Camp Scholarship, you can find a copy of the application here, the application deadline is March 31, 2014.”
