Boston Marathon Tragedy

Sadness envelops our region in the wake of the Boston Marathon tragedy.  Darkness loomed over what should have been a joyous and happy race and occasion.  All of us have a connection to Boston whether we worked there, went to school there, lived there or enjoyed its beauty and charm during day trips.  Boston is where I went to school, met my husband and had my first three children.  This city will always hold a place in my heart.  I love Boston for its people, its beauty, its culture, and so much more.

An abject evil has taken the lives and health of innocent people and we are now left to react to it.  Let us condemn violence with peace and let us respond to hatred with love.  May kindness, love and peace shine forth from us all, overcoming darkness.  My prayers and thoughts are with all of those affected by this tragedy.

May God Bless all of you and your families.
