Manchester Goes Back To School with Help From the Fisher Cats!

The below has information about a great Back To School program happening tomorrow night in Manchester.  Please pass this along to any Manchester families you might know.  Thank you to the Fisher Cats for providing this press release!

MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Wednesday night from 5-6:30 p.m., the Fisher Cats will host Manchester Goes Back to School 2013 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.  Through a partnership with Manchester Christian Church, Queen City Paint, and the Ted Williams Museum, more than 4,100 bags of school supplies will be given out to students across the city of Manchester.

Two Important Notes:

  • The entrance for kids and their families is NOT the stadium’s main entrance this year.  The entrance will be the right field gate.  The line will form there and go back (via the sidewalks) towards the Hilton Garden Inn. (This is different that last year.)  Click here to see a map of the new entrance.
  • As a note: Kids/Students must be present in order to receive a bag of school supplies, and each will receive a ticket before entering the stadium to be redeemed for the bag once inside. You can stay updated on our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/nhfishercats

In addition to serving as a school supply pick-up, several community groups will be on hand to make it a fun event for families. Among the agencies that will be at the event are:

  2. Manchester School District’s Superintendent and Principals (Greeting Students Near Giveaway)
