Slingshots and Catapults Day at the Children’s Museum of NH

Dover, NH– The Children’s Museum of NH is celebrating one of its most popular activities with a day of hands-on, high-flying fun. Slingshots and Catapults Day will be held on Friday, August 15 from 11 am – 3 pm at the museum in Dover.

Families can learn about the physics of leverage and flight, and work together to create their own mini catapults and slingshots to bring home. There will be places to test out and tweak these creations, and museum educators will lead outdoor demonstrations, weather permitting) at 11 am12 pm1 pm and 2 pm.

All catapult and slingshot activities are included in regular paid admission and are free for Children’s Museum members. No reservations are required and activities will be available throughout the 4-hour period.
