My family and I were thrilled to be given the opportunity to host a Fit Made Fun MommyParty on September 6th sponsored by LeapFrog and ClifKid in celebration of Fit Made Fun Day. LeapFrog declared September 6th Fit Made Fun Day, challenging kids everywhere to get up and active. Fit Made Fun Day celebrated the importance of active play and the launch of LeapFrog’s LeapBand, which makes fitness fun for kids.
To facilitate our hosting the Fit Made Fun Party I was sent a fantastic Party Kit which included recipes, activities, LeapBands and several boxes of ClifKid ZBAR Protein. Below is some information about LeapBand and ClifKid ZBAR Protein.
LeapBand Description: The LeapBand is a cool and wearable activity tracker that encourages kids to get active with customizable virtual pet pals. LeapBand tracks kids’ every movement and suggests fun active challenges – and the more they move, the more points they earn to unlock virtual rewards for their pets and get to new levels.
ClifKid Zbar Protein Description: ClifKid ZBAR Protein is a delicious whole grain protein snack made with nutritious building blocks for kids’ growing bodies. Flavors include Peanut Butter Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, and Chocolate Chip.
Our Fit Made Fun Day party was blessed with a perfectly gorgeous New Hampshire Day. As such, we were able to spend most of our party outdoors engaging in active play while testing out the LeapBand.
The children had a blast completing challenges while earning rewards for their virtual pets, advancing to new levels and earning new virtual pets. Our first LeapBand virutal pets, Power Dragon and Princess Unicorn (named by none other than my little ones) led my children and our guests in many different challenges to include my favorite: Walk Like a Monkey! I thought the kids were adorably hilarious when they were completing this challenge.
The kids also participated in the Fit Made Fun Day Record Breaking Challenge (very exciting)! On September 6th LeapFrog hosted their own Fit Made Fun Day at Santa Monica Beach with Mia Hamm and over 300 kids and families with the hopes of becoming the new Guiness World Records holders for three active play records: the most people making sand angels, the most people hopping on one foot and the most people doing the swim dance. I’m happy to report that our NH Kids were able to participate in this Record Breaking Challenge by making grass angels, hopping on one foot and doing their own versions of the swim dance. The kids did a great job completing each challenge while wearing the LeapBand!
After completing all of our challenges and breaking a few world records 😉 the kids were pretty hungry. They refueled with some delicious snacks courtesy of ClifKid! On the menu was Strawberry Lime Water, ClifKid ZBAR Protein Parfait, ClifKid ZBAR Protein Bars, ClifKid ZFRUIT and Power Dragon Grape Kabobs. You’ll notice that we labeled all of our snacks using pictures of our favorite LeapBand virtual pets. These pets are so cute that we couldn’t resist! The kids loved seeing these adorable little animals next to their yummy snacks!

My favorite snack was our ClifKid ZBAR Protein Parfait. The kids loved making their own yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit, granola and ClifKid bars!
Some kids even skipped the yogurt and just helped themselves to a plateful of their favorite parfait ingredients – ClifKid ZBAR Protein bars!
We winded down our party by coloring our favorite LeapBand Virtual Pets. You can find Pet Pad Fit Tip Coloring Pages at this link. The kids and I had a wonderful time leaping, jumping, hopping and much more with LeapFrog and then refueling with ClifKid! I want to say a Big Thank You to LeapFrog, ClifKid, Mom Select and MommyParties for giving me the opportunity to host this party and for the healthy and fun party kit!
