UNO Fundraiser to Help a Hudson Girl

On Thursday, September 25th, the UNO on Amherst St. in Nashua is hosting a very important fundraiser from 11:30am until 1:00am for a very special girl from Hudson that is fighting an inoperable brain tumor.

McKenzie Lowe, a Hudson 7th grader was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor in November 2012.   To assist her family in raising funds for her treatment and other medical expenses, on Thursday, September 25th, the UNO restaurant on Amherst St. in Nashua are hosting a fundraiser which will include a silent auction and raffles from 11:00am until 1:00am. On that day, UNO will donate 20% of the sales from the fundraiser (including take-out and catering sales!) as well as 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction and raffles to the “Friends of McKenzie Lowe.” It promises to be a great event with face painting for the kids, special performances by members of local choruses that evening, as well as delicious food and friends.

I hope you are able to attend the Dough Raiser.  And please remember if you can’t dine-in, take-out and catering sales are also included towards the Dough Raiser!
