A Day at the Boston Auto Show with She Buys Cars and Chevrolet

On January 15th , She Buys Cars and Chevrolet hosted several bloggers at the New England International Auto Show at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center.  We spent our time at the Chevy Booth learning about the latest in car design and urban mobility, seeing the Boston Auto Show’s Premier of the Chevrolet Trax and hearing how women are changing the automotive world.  We then received a tour of the Auto Show with James Bell, Head of Consumer Affairs at GM.

Now, you may be asking yourself “Why is New Hampshire Kids going to an Auto Show?” Here’s my answer: I spend a large portion of my day in my car.  When I’m not running errands, I’m shuttling my children between school, dance, play dates and everything in between.  I suspect that many parents do the same.  It is very important to me that my vehicle is safe, reliable, comfortable and functional for my lifestyle.  Choosing and driving the right car for your family matters!

Whether you’re using your vehicle to drive kids around or simply to commute to and from work it is so important to get a car that is not only at the right price point but that will also suit your needs and lifestyle.  Touring the Auto Show and hearing from the leading experts in the automotive field educated me in automobile options to include the latest  safety, luxury and lifestyle features available to families.  If you are looking for a new family car here are some New Hampshire Kids’ suggestions:

  • Do your homework!  Research both the car that you’re considering and the car dealership you’re looking to buy from.  One place to visit in your research is She Buys Cars.
  • Consider how your family will be using the car and how comfortable you will be in it.
  • Test drive and sit in the car.  Look at the big and little features.  The little details can make a big impact, especially if it’s a car that you plan on holding onto for many years.

Whether you are looking for the perfect car or are simply a car enthusiast, please check out the New England Auto Show which will be at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center from January 15-19,2015.  You can find more information at the New England International Auto Show’s Website linked here.  While there make sure to say hello to our friends at the Chevy Booth!
