JD Foods: Chicken $1.17lb
We eat more white meat than red meat so I’m always glad to find great prices on chicken at JD Foods! We also buy the case of ground turkey rolls to have on hand for chili and casseroles.
Some other favorites of mine that I’ll pick up here are the cases of yogurt, school snacks-such as granola bars, fiber bars etc. You’ll often find bags of organic frozen veggies. I love the pasta sauce here. I’ll buy a can or 2 and once I open the can, I’ll put the rest in freezer containers. But quite often I’ll make a few lasagnas and freeze those and my sauce will be gone. The best sauce—-ever!!! We have a lot of kids coming through so I like to have a few bags of pizza rolls or other pizza items for them to grab. Cereal is often a great deal here too, when you buy by the case!
