Here’s another FREE and fun option for school vacation week….The Currier Museum is offering FREE admission to all during School Vacation Week (April 22-26)! The Museum is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00am-5:00pm. In addition to offering free admission, the Currier Museum will host many family activities to include storytimes and art-marking activities. Please visit the museum’s website for more information.
Here’s a look at the Family Activities being offered by the Currier Museum this week (as taken from their website)!
- Monday, April 22: Celebrate Earth Day, listen to The Earth and I by Frank Asch, look at special exhibition Crafting Settlement and create an Earth Day-inspired artwork of your own. Recommended for ages 2 to 5, but all are welcome.
- Monday, April 22: Celebrate Earth Day, listen to Just a Dream by Chris Van Allsburg, look at special exhibition Crafting Settlement and create an Earth Day-inspired artwork of your own. Recommended for ages 5 to 8, but all are welcome.
- Wednesday, April 24: Family Studio – Create a work of art inspired by Crafting Settlement.
- Thursday, April 25: Family Drawing in the Galleries – Like drawing? Get inspired by art on view in the galleries!
- Friday, April 26: Family Tour – Art on the Fringe
