Strawberry Festival

This Saturday, June 1st, The Friends of the Library of Windham (FLOW) will host their annual Strawberry Festival at Windham High School.  If you haven’t yet been to a Strawberry Festival it is fantastically fun!  Their will be entertainment, food and lots of fun games!  Kids can play, bounce and race all day with a game bracelet that can be purchased for $7 for ages 4 and up and $5 for ages 3 and under.  There will be inflatables, to include an obstacle course, a photo booth, a treasure hunt, lollipop tree, an Angry Birds and Football toss and much more!  Games will be open from 10:00am-4:00pm.  Once you’ve worked up an appetite from all that fun you’ll have plenty of good food to choose from.  There will be standard summer grill fare, strawberry shortcakes (of course!) and many local food vendors on hand to cook up something delicious for you.  Vendors will include The Common Man Restaurant, The Lobster Tail, The Kitchen at Windham Junction, Capri Pizza, Village Bean, and Glenn’s Cone.  HomeFree will also be on hand selling allergy-friendly cookies.
