I can’t believe we’re in the middle of June already and Father’s Day is this weekend! Here’s a look at some of the fun things you can do with dad this weekend. I’ve also included a list of Father’s Day freebies that will be offered in our area this weekend. Have fun celebrating dad!
Father’s Day Events!
June 14-16, 2013: Enjoy some New Hampshire barbeque, music and entertainment at the Rotary Rock’n Ribfest at Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH. All funds raised go to support area non-profit organizations.
June 16, 2013: Father’s Day 5K at Margarita’s Restaurant in Dover, NH
June 16, 2013: The 10th Annual Skip Matthew’s Memorial Run will be on Father’s Day this year!
Father’s Day Freebies!
Free Amusement Park Admission:
- On Sunday, June 16th, Canobie Lake Park will give dads free admission and a free lunch (when accompanied by a paid child)!
Free Farm Admission:
Free Golf:
- On June 16th, fathers play golf for free at Bretton Woods Resort (with the purchase of your accompanying round). Fathers will also fly for free at Bretton Woods with the purchase of an accompanying, full-price Canopy Tour.
Free Movies:
- On Father’s Day, Chunky’s will give Dad free admission and free popcorn!
Free Museum Admission:
- On June 16th, fathers and grandfathers will be able to play for free at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. The museum is offering free admission for all fathers and grandfathers on Sunday from 12:00-5:00pm. There will also be a special creative activity where children will be able to make Father’s Day gifts (included in regular admission price).
- Dad’s can see the Dino exhibit for free at the SEE Science Center’s Discover the Dinosaurs on June 16th.
Free Zoo and Aquarium Admission:
- On Sunday, June 16th, the Franklin Park Zoo will celebrate Father’s Day with free admission for all father’s throughout the day.
- On Sunday, June 16th, the Southwick’s Zoo will be offering fathers half price on admission.
- On Sunday, June 16th, the Stone Zoo will celebrate Father’s Day with free admission for all father’s throughout the day.
