Dover, NH – December’s Dollar Deal Night at the Children’s Museum of NH happily coincides with holiday festivities in downtown Dover. On Friday, December 6 from 5:30 – 8 pm, the Children’s Museum will be open from 5:30 – 8 pm with $1 per person admission. The museum will also be conducting a toy drive for the Dover Fire Toy Bank in partnership with ReVision Energy that night. Families are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy or purchase one in the Museum Shop to donate.
Outside the museum in Henry Law Park, the City of Dover’s Tree Lighting event will take place at 6 pm with holiday music and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Further up the street at Dover City Hall, the annual Festival of Trees will take place from 4:30 – 8 pm. Both of these events are free to the public. Dollar Deal Night attendees are welcome to leave the museum for any of these activities and return at no charge.
Underwritten for the school year by Citizens Bank Foundation, Dollar Deal Nights happen on the first Friday night of each month and admission is just $1 per person. This is a 90% savings over regular admission, and offers families a monthly opportunity to enjoy creative play before bedtime during special evening hours when the Museum is typically closed.
The dates of all upcoming Dollar Deal Nights are: Friday, January 3; Friday, February 7; Friday, March 7; Friday, April 4; Friday, May 2; Friday, June 6
During the fall and winter months, the Children’s Museum of NH is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 12 – 5 pm. The museum is closed most Mondays except for selected holidays and school vacation days.
