Ski and Stay at Waterville Valley Resort

This beautiful snowy weather has me thinking about skiing!  So, I wanted to share this article from my friends over at Louis Karno and Company about winter fun in Waterville Valley.

Waterville Valley, NH – Located in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Waterville Valley Resort offers big mountain skiing and riding to families with a variety of activities and events. Just a 2 hour drive from Boston, a mini vacation is closer than you think.

The Black Bear Lodge, with suites that are perfect for families, is offering some great deals, like their December to April Ski + Stay deal. Starting $84 per person, per night for four people, or $333 per night, the deal includes discounted lift tickets to Waterville Valley Ski Resort.

There are no blackout dates, but a two night minimum reservation is required. Prices vary based on room type and the number of skiers/riders staying in the room. Price includes the 9% NH Meals & Rooms Tax and Resort Fee. This deal is being offered from December 13, 2013 to April 6, 2014.

The Black Bear Lodge is a family friendly, service oriented, well-appointed all-suite hotel with one-bedroom condominiums. Comfortably sleeping 4-6 people, each suite features a fully equipped kitchen, dining/living area, full bath and separate bedroom. Lodge amenities include an indoor/outdoor heated pool; sauna, whirlpool and a game room, while full resort services are only a short walk away.

Waterville Valley Resort offers 250 skiable acres with snowmaking ability on every trail. The ski area peaks at 4,004 feet, with a vertical drop of 2,020 feet, 52 trails and 12 lifts.

New Hampshire has many towns that naturally grew around the state’s travel and tourism industry—particularly around its many ski mountains. But only one, Waterville Valley, was designed and planned specifically as a self-contained, four seasons resort. In addition to its world-class ski area, Waterville Valley Resort has cultural activities, an indoor ice rink, and a host of outdoor activities.
