Valentine’s Day Happenings 2014

February 7-14, 2014: Pottery Barn Kids in the Burlington Mall (MA) is hosting children’s events to celebrate Valentine’s Day from February 7-14.  There will be an “Oh Happy Day!  Valentine Station” from February 7th-14th and Cookie Decorating on February 8th at 11am.

February 2, 2014: Just Mom and Me at the American Girl Store in Natick, MA.  While this isn’t technically a Valentine’s Day event I thought it would be fun to include on this list.  What could be better for Valentine’s Day than spending a special day with your little girl?  It’s time for mother-daughter day! You’ll enjoy a special meal, make a paper family tree, and even sign a “mother-daughter promise” to keep creating memories. Includes a keepsake photo and frame, plus an American Girl book to take home. Reservations required. For girls ages 8 and up.

February 9, 2014: Date with My Dad at the American Girl Store in Natick, MA.  This is also not a Valentine’s Day event…just one that I wanted to add because I thought it would be a special experience for Dad and daughter right around Valentine’s Day.  Spend a special day with your daughter! You’ll enjoy a delightful meal, make a paper craft, and even sign a “father-daughter promise” to keep having fun together. Includes a keepsake photo and frame, plus an American Girl book to take home. Reservations required. For girls ages 8 and up.

February 12, 2014: Cha! Cha!’s Valentine’s Bash at the Rainforest Cafe in the Burlington Mall.  Join Cha! Cha! to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the whole family.  There will be character meet and greets, games, crafts, activities, a raffle, Valentine cupcakes and goodie bags for the kids.  Please call the Rainforest Cafe for details.

February 14, 2014: Valentine Card Craft at the American Girl Store in Natick, MA.  Inspire your girl to give something extra-special to her Valentine: a cute handmade card and matching envelope! She’ll use stickers and decorative paper to make a one-of-a-kind card, then add a sweet message on the inside. Free and open to the public. For girls ages 8 and up.

February 14, 2013: Kid’s Valentine’s Night In at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire (while the parents go out)!  Kids will have access to all the Museum’s exhibits, will participate in a scavenger hunt, take-home crafts and science activities.  The Museum will provide pizza, fruit, juice and water for dinner, and each child can decorate their own cookie for dessert.
