Fall Fun at the Farm

Candia, NH: 

  • Charmingfare Farm: Charmingfare Farm has hay rides and a Pumpkin Festival in October. Hay rides cost $25 per person and include a 1.5 hour ride, a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and hot cocoa.

Canterbury, NH:

  • J&F Farms: J&F has a corn maze, pumpkins and a free petting farm.

Hampton, NH: 

  • Applecrest Farm Orchards: Applecrest Farm Orchards launches their Fall Festicals on the first weekend in September and run from 11:00am-5:00pm both Saturday and Sunday, every weekend, through the end of October.  There is Pick-your-own apples, peaches and pumpkins, horse-drawn hay rides, a children’s petting zoo, face painting and balloons, press your own apple cider, pie eating contests, and more.   Apple Orchards also has Storybook Hay rrdes featuring beloved fairy tale characters.  Characters take to their orchards, performing sweet vignettes for children perched on a roving horse-drawn hay wagon.  In eight lively scenes, kids partake in the classics, warning Little Red of the approaching wolf, watching Humpty Dumpty have his great fall, helping Dorothy and The Scarecrow along the yellow brick road and much, much more.

  • McKenzie Farm: McKenzie Farm has pumpkins, apples, a farm stand and McKtober Fest!

Nashua, NH: 

  • Parlee Farms: Pick-your-own apples, pumpkins and go on a hay ride at Parlee Farms. You can also visit Annie’s Animal Barns to feed the farm animals and run around the Hay Play Area or spin around Farmer Mark’s Tractor Training Course.
