The Kids Coop Theatre Presents Peter Pan Jr.

Fly away to Never Land with Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Darling children in Disney’s adaptation of the beloved animated film! Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. When her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Never Land. Their adventure introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and the infamous Captain Hook and features the classic songs “You Can Fly”, “The Second Star to the Right” and “Following the Leader.”

Disney’s Peter Pan Jr. is Kids Coop Theatre’s 4th Annual Young Directors Showcase, a program that gives the KCT’s older teenage members an opportunity to take the helm of the creative process while under the guidance of professional directors. This year’s talented trio includes Michael DeRosa, 18 of Londonderry, Director; Carmela Rogers, 16 of Chester, Music Director; and Brittany Cardoza, 15 of Hampstead, Choreographer. All are veteran Kids Coop Theatre actors and together will direct the cast of 39 kids ages 8-18 from Derry, Londonderry, Windham, Hampstead, Auburn and Sandown. The Young Directors are mentored by professional directors Donald Tongue and Amanda Morgan.
Peter Pan Jr. will be performed March 6th at 7pm, and March 7th at 1pm and 7pm at the Derry Opera House, 29 West Broadway, Derry, NH. All tickets are $12 and are available at www.kids-coop-theatre.org.

Discounted group tickets are available for groups of 10 or more for the Saturday matinee only and include reserved seating and a meet and greet with the cast and crew.

Kids Coop Theatre is a 501(c)3 educational charity founded in 1997 with a mission to provide children ages 8-18 a fun, safe, non-competitive environment to develop talent, self-esteem, learn teamwork and leadership skills, and make life-long friends through acting, music and dance. Our programs are open to area children. Children from the Derry, Londonderry, Litchfield, Hudson, Salem, Hampstead, Danville, Manchester, Bedford, Windham, Pelham, and Chester, and beyond have participated in our shows. KCT is a cooperative organization that recognizes the importance of family involvement. With the exception of the professional artistic directors that we hire, every job from set construction to costume design to tickets sales as well as the management of the organization is performed by dedicated parent volunteers.
